The zipper closure on this fleece top is placed low. We weren't satisfied with just the waist pockets on both sides, so we added a large pocket on the left chest. You can store your passport and boarding pass—items you'll need repeatedly at the airport—for quick access. Inside, there's also a pocket perfectly sized for cards.
This is going to be a long story, but since chatting endlessly is part of this brand’s origin story, I might as well give it to you. During one of my travels, I noticed that my laces were untied, so I bent down to tie them, only to let the hotel card key and credit cards that were supposedly snug in my breast pocket fall. I should have just quickly picked them up, but for some reason, at that time, I did not realize what had happened. Things like that happen in life sometimes. I bought a bagel and went back to my room, only to discover I didn’t have my room key card—to be precise, I couldn’t even press the buttons in the elevator! Panic ensued. As it turned out, the bagel shop had found my two keys and had kept them safe. It’s a travel anecdote, a moment touched by the kindness of others. But ideally, it should never have happened. And so, I added a chest pocket designed to fit cards perfectly, with a mechanism that prevents them from slipping out.

There is also a pocket for pens. This is for when you’re at the airport or on a plane, and you are suddenly hit with an urge to write something down, but you don’t have a writing implement on you! Time to bid goodbye to those frustrating moments. It's also perfect for someone who gets absorbed in crossword puzzles even when they don’t have a flight scheduled.
This fleece is made from a blend of recycled polyester and wool by Calamai, crafted in the Italian town of Prato. It's warm and lightweight, odor-resistant, and machine washable. It's such a wonderful fleece, you'll want to bury yourself in it.
Since it's a wool fleece, you can also layer it over a shirt and wear it like a sweater.
