If your feet get soaking wet, that’s it—we all lose the will to go on. So on a rainy day, footwear is very, very important.

First of all, these leather shoes. You may not imagine this from the stylish appearance, but the upper part utilizes original waterproof suede material, and for the lining, we have utilized our favorite eVent®. They keep your feet dry even in the heaviest of rain.

For the outer sole, we have used Vibram®’s Arctic Grip A.T. Because the shoes are equipped with a grip that functions even on icy frozen surfaces, they can definitely manage streets that are slippery from rainwater.

Here is an illustrative breakdown of our Plain Toe shoes. A major feature of Bbb shoes is that they have two insoles. Let’s call the topmost insole in the diagram “A”. A is Bbb’s original insole, “Seed STAB (Seed Stabilizer)”. Wrapping heels in a TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) shell like a seed, the sole gives stability when walking. In addition, the smooth cow leather insole has a logo for a great finish. We wanted to refer to the second insole “B” but because we have been calling our brand “Bbb”, we may have elicited some unnecessary confusion. Let’s just call this layer our second insole. This second insole is also our original product. Called “FOF FORM (for Fresh OF Fruit Form)”, this high-resilience EVA stretch material with a unique composition is soft and also has elasticity (or chewiness) like a fruit. It wraps around your feet and gives comfort and freshness. The double insole are as comfortable as wearing sneakers. Depending on the situation, remove the A insole, it will be like you are wearing recovery footwear that gently cradles your feet. Or pair our loose socks with the Plain Toe shoes without the A insole and they should fit just right. And which one was the A insole, you ask? Well then, for clarity’s sake, let’s now refer this to as the first insole. Better late than never, right?

The stitch-down construction gives a slim look, but they are roomy and comfortable inside. On the road, they will allow you to get your steps in out in town, just like sneakers, and at night, take out the removable insoles and let your feet relax at the restaurant. Now that is adulting.

And that’s not all. Bbb shoes come with three different types of laces. From the top, there are the waxed flat laces, waxed round laces that give a refined impression, and the plain laces for a casual look.
